NEW SONGSIt looks like the star power couple that has been cruising smoothly since their wedding, Zari Hassan and Shakib Lutaaya has now hit a rock, all thanks to the Boss Lady’s baby daddy and Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnums, she has even asked any slay queen with money to come and take her hubby away.
All this started after Tanzanian music sensation Diamond Platnumz made a surprise visit to Zari’s South African home just to celebrate his daughter Latiffah’s birthday. But, oh boy, did his unannounced visit stir up some drama!
Shakib, who’s more often seen in Kampala, wasn’t thrilled to learn about Diamond’s sudden appearance. He had some pointed questions for Zari, wondering if her ex’s visit was a sign of lingering feelings.
“He was mad. He questioned me on why I didn’t tell him Diamond was coming. He said maybe I’m still in love with the father of my children,” Zari recounted.
But hold on a second—Zari was caught off guard too. She claimed she had no idea Diamond was planning to show up. The surprise was orchestrated by some of Zari’s household members, not by her directly. Diamond, who had previously cut off direct communication with Zari due to Shakib’s presence, had to go through her staff to reach out.
“Diamond requested the contact details of people in the house to get in touch with his kids, One of my housemaids gave him the access code to the apartment,” Zari explained.
And thus, the plot thickens. Shakib wasn’t buying the story and expressed his displeasure, accusing Zari of inviting Diamond and rekindling old flames.
