Ykee Benda Rallies Ugandan Artistes to Shun Saudi Arabia Concerts, Here Are Reasons Why

Singer and talent manager Mpaka Records boss Ykee Benda has asked Ugandan artistes to to shun Saudi Arabia shows.

Benda said it should serve as an example to “stupid promoters” there that are always leading to the arrest of innocent artistes who go there to perform.

Ykee Benda made this statement following the arrest of rising star Fik Gaza. It was his first time to go and perform in Saudi Arabia and it didn’t well as he is currently behind bars.

According to the singer, he was also in Saudi Arabia last month and it was very annoying because of how the promoters were behaving towards each other.

He said if he wasn’t smart he was going to end up behind bars but he was very fortunate enough that he managed to read the room and left before the police could show up to arrest him.

Ykee Benda told all artistes not to show up anywhere in Saudi Arabia. He said those who have no money should give it back for the sake of their safety early.

“I was in Saudi Arabia and I am telling all artistes to sabotage those promoters. Don’t go there to perform because you will end up in bars. Those people are badly behaved they don’t care about anything the promoters are very jealous of each other they can’t even work together. It is unfortunate as one of the artistes is currently in prison,” Benda said.
